Level lies are a lovely idea. Most of our customers do not get many of them.
Sloped mat
We built a mat with a gentle upslope and downslope so we can see how your clubs behave on a hill. Most fitters do not do that.
Lie and length
A flat-ground lie is the starting point. After that we check what happens on a sidehill and adjust a half-degree either way if it helps.
Gapping
We chart carry for each club. Hills change distances, so we talk about uphill and downhill yardage too.
